| Balustrades consist of a handrail and a runrail as well
the individual balusters. It is optionally possible to extend the balustrade
with end- and centre pillars. We differentiate between parapet balustrades
and decorative balustrades. |

The parapet balustrade is fitted as a handrail on balconies and as stair bracket. According to DIN 18065 a parapet height of 90 cm is specified from a height of 1 m (from a height of 12 m, 100 cm parapet height). The biggest opening from baluster to baluster should not exceed 12 cm. Please click on our photo gallery for parapet balustrades. A decorative balustrade is generally used as a terrace ring fence or serves as a pure adornment. It is not subject to any parapet norm and can thus be varied. The height and the distance of the balusters play only an optical role. Please click on our photo gallery for decorative balustrades. |
