of Artificial Stone made in East Friesland
We have been manufacturing the most different products of artificial stone
for three decades. Balustrades, faade components, columns as well as special
design have become core products of our company. Demands for our products
increased year by year and we were able to master the challenge successfully.
We expanded - today we are able to complete even extensive building projects
with the means on hand to the complete satisfaction of our appreciated clientele.

helpful
With the company-owned brand SAXEUM we establish a completely new product
line named ÒHome Furniture made of Artificial StoneÓ that also covers the
interior design domain of a building project.
Company History
In 1970 company Ulpts was founded by Wilhelm Ulpts, the inventor of the RHAUDER-fence. At the beginning the RHAUDER-fence was manufactured in operose handcraft in a garage. The first hall was built in 1973. In 1982 a production hall with office building were set up at the Schmiedestrasse (street's name) and production was replaced.
In the 1980s the range of products was continuously extended. Innovations included balustrades as well as faade components.
In 1988 the founder's son-in-law Wilhelm Tombrink and his wife Gitta, née Ulpts took over the company.
After the company's founder Wilhelm Ulpts died in 1996, his grandson Wilko Tombrink decided to join the family enterprise after having finished his apprenticeship.
In 1998 a further production hall was built; 2 years later the office building was expanded.
In December 2001 Wilko Tombrink passed his examination as master's craftsman in concrete block and terrazzo-craft at the vocational school in Ulm.
Wilko Tombrink manages the business in the 3. generation.
